If you plan on going in your birthday suit, make sure you bring a beach blanket, as the area is known for cooler temperatures than your average beach. Located right near the iconic Golden Gate bridge (photo op anyone?) there’s also good sight seeing opportunities, including the infamous Castro Street. The perfect choice for those looking to soak up the sun without melting in the heat. Very gay friendly, and a popular alternative to Stigas’ other popular gay beach with a optional clothing rule, Playa De la Bassa Rodona.
